About Welingkar | ||||||||||
| Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management
Development and Research, which was established in 1977, is a leading
management institute in the country dedicated to the development of
outstanding business professionals who add value to organizations
and society. It is a part of Shikshana Prasaraka Mandali, Pune, established
in 1888, one of the prestigious educational trusts in Maharashtra,
which manages around 40 educational institutions, prominent among
them being the Ruia College, the Podar College of Commerce and the
S. P. College, Pune. The schools of Reliance and Enron are also managed
by S.P. Mandali.
The programs conducted by Welingkar include PGDBA, MMS, MMM, MHRDM, MIM, MFM, PG in E-Business and Professional Program in Retailing (PPR). 'Business India' survey 2001 has rated Welingkar among the "A" Grade B-Schools in the country. Soon we will also be embarking on programs on Insurance Management. Ranked among the Top 10 B-schools in India in Intellectual Capital Index. |
